1-Day Fly in Opportunity Touring Mikumi National Park

The Mikumi floodplain with its open grassland dominates the park together with the mountain ranges that borders the park in two sides. The park provides excellent opportunity to view diverse number of animals and birds in a short period of time without too much of driving around. The wildlife viewing experience in this park can be experienced right upon entering the park where you can encounter baboons, zebras, and impalas and many more wild animals.

Day 1: Zanzibar Island to Mikumi National Park-Zanzibar Island:
Transfer from (confirm pick-up hotel) at 0400am to Zanzibar Airport for your Special Charter flight at 0600am to Mikumi National Park which is approximately 1 hour flight from Zanzibar Island. Upon arrival at the park at around 0700am meet and greet then with your picnic lunch and drinks proceed with game drives in Mikumi National Park. Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth – largest National Park. Within its 3230 sq. km its set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the south-east. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, Zebras, Leopards, Crocodiles, Wildebeests and Hippos just to mention a few. Mikumi National Park provides excellent opportunity to view diverse number of animals and birds in a short period of time without too much of driving around. Game drive in the park till late in the afternoon then take your Special Charter flight at 0400pm to Zanzibar Island arrival around 0500pm then transfer to your hotel.
